Originally from Mexico City, 1995-2002 Mariana started her studies on one of the National Ballet Schools and fine Arts in Mexico, Academia de La Danza Mexicana. In 1999 won Bronze Medal on the IV National Ballet competition in Mexico City, in 2001 and 2002 won silver medal on the V and VI National Ballet competition in Mexico. In 2002 won Gold Medal on the XXI International Ballet Competition in Merida Yucatan, Mexico. She participated in The Grand Prix de Laussane, Laussane Switzerland in 2001. From 2002 to 2008 Mariana danced with The National Ballet Company of Mexico performing in productions as The Nutcracker, The Swan Lake, Carmina Burana, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty,  etc. Now living in Canada she has danced with Motus O Dance Theater in Perspectives, Christmas Carol, Phoenix Rising.
