Leah began dancing at the York Dance Academy at the age of three. She gained experience in Cecchetti ballet, Pointe, jazz, hip hop, acro, musical theatre and highland dancing.

She competed with York's competitive team for thirteen years winning numerous First Place and Overall awards. Leah has been teaching with Alexandra Auld-Tizzard for the past nine years, and continues to work with Lexie in preparation to take her Associate Exam in Cecchetti Ballet. Leah has been a member of the teaching staff at the York Dance Academy since 2007, working with the recreational and competitive students.

Leah is currently in the Fine Arts Dance Program at York University. She is not only taking classes in ballet and modern, but also in foreign dance styles.
