Juan Alberto

This native Puerto Rican has lived happily in Canada for the last 20 years, after a visit to Toronto to appear on a Rogers television show in 1999. His career spans as a dancer, choreographer, and judge for dance competitions, appearing on Univision, Telemundo and WAPA networks.

From 1999 to 2004 he was the Canadian National Theater Art / Show Dance/ Cabaret Champion, at the Blackpool Dance festival in Manchester UK, the most prestigious Ballroom dance competition in the world. Juan and his partner were the first Canadians to be awarded the Silver Medal in this prestigious "the Olympics for Ballroom dancers".  

Juan has competed extensively in many World Ballroom Championships in Germany, France, Holland, China, Russia and the USA. In 2010 he won the National Rhythm Canadian Championship and was also an adjudicator at the Salsa Congress.

He continues to strive to be the best at what he lives to do, DANCE.
